Love should be legal
For the life of me, I cannot understand all the fuss.
What should it matter who anyone loves...we are talking consenting adults. And for you right wing facists...no I dont mean to include animals or children into this equation.
When you agree that we have a seperation of church and state than it takes God out of this equation. And by removing religion, the reason for declaring homosexual marriage as atrocious holds no ground.
Just 40 years ago it was illegal for blacks and whites to marry....the new scapegoat being gays....for if we continue to criticize those on the outside we must never look inside.

Two years ago, the sheep in Ohio voted to amend the state constitution to recognize "Only a union between one man and one woman" as marriage. And since this is apparently only an issue every two years during election time, it's come up again before the Senate to do the same to the US Consitution. They didn't get the majority they needed, but you can bet that every one who voted against it will pay dearly this November.
Interesting side-note: My brother-in-law, a supposed Mensa candidate, voted yes on the Ohio amendment because "without it, anything could happen...guys could marry their sisters." His wife, of course, pointed out that it will only keep guys from marrying their brothers. I think maybe he's been listening to a little too much Rush Limbaugh.

scarey stuff....
Really a bit insane...no matter how "intelligent" one may be there are all these prejudices that run deep and perhaps some are tooooo influenced by the close minded....
It was not so long ago that it was illegal for blacks and whites to marry...the arguments were not so unlike those being posted in this anti gay marriage hysteria....
children, animals and siblings clearly don't belong in this debate at all...but try telling that to the masses....
